Thank You for creating me

God, thank You for intricately forming me. Rid my mind of any self-doubt and discontentment. I am Your unique design. I am known. I am a fearfully and wonderfully made masterpiece! Teach me to fully embrace this truth and rest confidently in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Jesus is God's Son

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. Thank You for allowing me to serve You and have a close relationship with You. I am constantly in awe of Your goodness and love for Your people. Help me each day to live a life that honors You and draws others closer to You.

God is worthy to be praised

God, You are mighty and worthy of all my praise! When I feel overwhelmed, You want to support me. When I feel discouraged, You want to encourage me. When I feel hopeless and alone, You surround and protect me. I will praise You because You are my source of strength. Nothing is impossible for You, and You are for me! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be kind to those who mistreat you

God, it can be difficult to love those who have mistreated me, but I know You love them—so I want to love them too. Encourage me to pray for those I am too hurt to be around. Give me the courage to go out of my way and to be kind to those who are unkind. And provide me with the strength I need to forgive them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for forgiveness

Jesus, thank You for forgiveness from my sins. For righteousness through faith. For healing. The only way was through Your sacrifice on the cross. You gave everything so I could be made whole and have life with You. Thank You! Help me live with that truth as the foundation of everything I am and do. In Your name I pray, Amen.

Prayer for the gospel

God, I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I am so grateful for Your love for me, and I want to share Your goodness with the world. Help me to be bold in my faith, to love others well, and to live a life that honors You. Guide me as I walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank You for being generous

God, You are so generous. I can never outgive you! You are the Giver of every good thing. Thank You. Help me to have a heart of generosity that reflects Your heart. Thank You for inviting me to trust You with everything I have. It’s all Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank You for your word

God, thank You for teaching me through Your Word. And thank You for placing people in my life that inspire me to draw close to You. As I go about my day, please surround me with opportunities to learn more about You, and apply what I learn. Let me be on the lookout for ways to deepen my relationship with You, and the people You love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Close to God

Father God, You are always near, but today I am inviting You to come close to me. Show me how near You are. Here are my burdens—please take them. I am tired of pretending that I can carry them. Remove my fears and replace any heaviness in my life with Your relentless love. Come close to me as I come close to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer to live for God

God, I want my life to be lived for Your glory. In moments where it is difficult for me to surrender my plans to You, please help me to focus on Your vision for the future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, I pray against all the distractions of the enemy. I know that true joy and satisfaction can only be found in You—the giver of life. Help me as I face daily attacks on my time, attention, and energy. Empty my life of any lies and false securities. I trust Your way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer to live for God

God, thank You for the life that You've given me. While I know life isn't always easy, I do know that living my life for You is worth every second I have. While it can be scary to think about death, I rest knowing that You defeated death on the cross and You made a way for me to live forever with You. Thank You! In Jesus' name, Amen.

God's goodness

Father God, You are so good to me! I don’t have to look very far to see evidence of Your goodness in my life. Even in the midst of hard situations, You show Yourself faithful, just, ever-present, and trustworthy. I have seen that You are good because I have cried out to You for help, and You have saved me. Blessed be Your name! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank You for the Holy Spirit

God, thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit and for making a way for me to live by Your Spirit. You are so kind to bless me with Your presence. I don’t want to take that for granted. So, starting today, please teach me how to live in step with You. Give me confidence, boldness, and discernment as I seek to follow You wholeheartedly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for closeness

God, thank You for giving me a new nature. Because of Jesus, I can know You personally and draw close to You daily. I don’t want to take this for granted, so today I surrender the desires that pull me away from You. Align my will with Your will so that the fruit of Your Spirit will be clear in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fruits of the Spirit

God, from Your love I can experience the fruit of Your Spirit. These fruits are a natural outpouring of knowing You and Your love. Help me to be more joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, and faithful. Deepen my relationship with You so that Your fruit become a natural part of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encourage others

God, thank You for creating me as part of Your family. I am so grateful for the people in my life who have encouraged me. I pray that I can be an encouragement to others. Help me to be aware of those around me who are discouraged. Show me ways to share Your love with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer for a pure heart

God, I want to have a pure heart. Please reveal to me the areas of my heart that are not in line with Your Word. Help me to let go of bitterness, disappointment, and hurt I am holding onto. I surrender my whole heart to You. Thank You for making me brand new! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for loving me

Jesus, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Thank You for coming to earth to rescue me. I want to love You the way that You love me. I know that this isn’t easy. I know that this will cost me something. But I want You to be first in my life. So please show me how to guard my heart, and teach me how to become more like You. Amen.

Thank You for knowing me

God, You know everything about me. You know what I’m going to say before I speak it. You know all of my thoughts, desires, and intentions. All that I am, I give to You. Please help me recognize any lies I've been believing and replace them with Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
