Thank You for your mercy

God, today we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and awe. We reflect on the powerful and matchless name of Jesus. Thank You for sending Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice, to save us from our sins. May His selfless act inspire us to live lives of gratitude and purpose.

Thank You for your saving grace

Jesus, thank You for coming into the world. You loved me so much that You lowered Yourself to a humble life on earth to have a relationship with me. Help me to live in a way that follows Your example and leads others to know You as a Friend and Savior. In Your name, Amen.

Thank You for being with me

God, thank You for being with me. I know You created me and have good plans for me. Help me see Your presence in my life. Remind me of all the times, both good and bad, that You’ve been there for me. I trust You today, and am eager to walk beside You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A prayer for growth

God, would you bring new growth into my life where these things seemed dead? You have been so good to me, but right now, in this Christmas season, I’m wanting to see the miracle of new growth in my life. Will you help me to see the “tender shoot” of growth around me and give me a grateful heart as you work in me? In Jesus' name, Amen.

A prayer for confidence

God, help me to find confidence in Your good promises. You are faithful and won’t abandon me. So please keep me from negativity or despair and help me to pursue You with my whole life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A prayer for strength

God, I’m not strong enough on my own, but You are. You make a way in the desert. You give new life and new hope. Help me to rely on your strength and power today and to find my life and freedom in You. Thank You for sending a Messiah to end the darkness and make a way! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer to show love

God, thank You for being the perfect example of love. Some people are difficult for me to love, yet You love everyone without condition. Help me to see others through Your eyes. Make me aware of a specific person I can shine Your light and love to today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
